BOOKS + BINDING

Individually hand bound journals, artists’ books, slipcases and Solander boxes in book cloth, leather and paper

FURNITURE + FRAMING

1. We design and make a selection of bespoke
     handcrafted furniture pieces including
     bookshelves and print drawers made in
     various sizes and finishes

2. Two types of framing available – custom designed
     and handmade timber frames in oak, ash or
     walnut or a readymade aluminium profile
     in either black or natural aluminium

3. We also provide display solutions for delicate
     art objects

MAKER’s previous collaborations include projects with artists Mikhael Subotzky, Gabrielle Goliath, Lindie Ferreira, Ryan Arenson, Jonah Sack and currently Simon Gush

We have also recently collaborated with French composer François Sarhan in creating his first artist’s book and South African composer Philip Miller in creating his unique LP and now his new CD
